Introduction
The Aquarium Paintings is an on-going series of pictures based on real and imaginary displays of sea life. They explore the effects of light, depth and transparency on colorful creatures moving through not-always-clear water. Silent dramas play out on both sides of the glass.
These paintings have been the focus of solo shows for the last three years, first at Galleria Artemisia, now at Esmond-Wright Gallery in Provincetown, MA.
